I don't know how. I didn't ask. There are things Yemi does that operate outside the territory of explanation—she moves through information the way water moves through pipes, finding the path of least resistance not because she is lazy but because she understands that systems have structures, and structures have seams, and if you apply pressure at the right seam the whole thing opens. She went into the bedroom with her phone and came out with an address written on the back of a pharmacy receipt in her small, upright handwriting, and she placed it on the kitchen table between my cold tea and Dele's untouched plate the way a mathematician places a proof: without fanfare, without commentary, as a fact.
